About GCC Atlas
What is GCC Atlas?
GCC Atlas is a single source of truth for India's Global Capability Centres (GCCs). It serves two audiences:
- Service-provider BD teams (advisors, real estate, recruiters, EOR) who want to know which GCCs are landing and where.
- GCC entrants who want to compare cities and see which providers are credible.
The Trust Rule
The core principle of GCC Atlas is radical transparency about data quality. Every fact in the system shows:
Who said this? (e.g., Company Website, NASSCOM Report, LinkedIn Data)
Where exactly? Clickable link to the original source.
When was this last verified? (e.g., 2024-06)
High (direct source), Medium (industry report), Low (estimate)
Confidence Levels
Sourced directly from the company's official website, press releases, or SEC filings. The most reliable data we have.
Sourced from industry reports (NASSCOM), LinkedIn data, or reputable business media. Generally reliable but may be dated or approximate.
Estimated based on secondary sources, unconfirmed reports, or extrapolated data. Use with caution and verify independently.
Provider Verification
Service providers can claim deliveries to specific GCCs. Each claim is marked:
Confirmed by the GCC
Provider's claim only
Unverified doesn't mean false — it means the GCC hasn't confirmed it yet.
About the Data
This prototype uses seed data stored in a local JSON file. The data includes:
- 65 operating GCC records across 9 Indian cities
- 10 announced/upcoming GCCs
- 6 service provider profiles
- City-level comparison data for 9 cities
GCC names, parent companies, and cities are real. Headcount bands, exact establishment years, and some details are illustrative — derived from public industry reports but not guaranteed accurate. See the data README for the full breakdown of real vs. illustrative fields.
